Are Samebike electric bikes legal in Europe and the UK?

The Samebike electric bike fully complies with the e-bike regulations in the European Union and the UK:

1. Speed: The default speed at purchase complies with European/UK regulations, which is a maximum of 25 km/h. However, it is possible to unlock the speed limit to reach 35 km/h or more (instructions for removing this limit are available from customer service).
2. Maximum Power: In accordance with European/UK regulations, the motor does not have an explicit power rating. The actual motor power is indicated by the code "D", such as "500W", "500D", or "250W500D", which corresponds to the nominal power and peak power within legal limits.
3. 100% Electric Ride Mode: The bike is equipped with a removable throttle. Its removal complies with European/UK regulations, which prohibit the 100% electric mode. However, users can install the throttle according to their preferences for a purely electric mode (instructions for the removable throttle are included or available from customer service).
4. Product COC Certification: All SAMEBIKE models have obtained CE and UKCA certifications from the EU's ECM institution, ensuring full compliance with legal standards.

Can I ride the LO26 Plus in the rain? While SAMEBIKE electric bikes are designed to handle wet conditions, please note that riding in heavy rain may affect battery life and reduce traction. Therefore, exercise caution and avoid riding in heavy rain. Regarding waterproofing, the entire bike is IP54 compliant, while the motor, battery, and display are IP64 compliant.
